My Vision for the Mighty Midwest Region

I am seeking the office of Midwest Regional Director because I believe deeply in the power of Delta women to transform our sisterhood and our communities. I am committed to leading and inspiring Sorors of the Mighty Midwest as we strengthen our shared dedication to Delta and build a culture where intentional sisterhood, meaningful service, and strong governance work together.
My desire to serve is grounded in stewardship, unity, and love for Delta. I want to lead a Region where Excellence is the Standard. Love is the Language.
My vision is centered on Every Soror. One Sisterhood. One Region. I envision a Mighty Midwest where every collegiate and alumnae Soror is equipped, empowered, and engaged; where chapters feel supported; where communication builds trust; and where our collective work advances Delta’s mission with excellence, accountability, and heartfelt service.

Strengthening Chapters Through Excellence and Support
I believe strong chapters create a strong Region. As Midwest Regional Director, I will work to ensure that collegiate and alumnae chapters receive clear guidance, practical resources, and consistent support as required to operate with excellence.
I will focus on:
Helping chapters understand and apply Delta’s governing documents, policies, procedures, and expectations
Providing timely and organized training that supports effective chapter operations
Helping chapters understand and apply Delta’s governing documents, policies, procedures, and expectations
Strengthening chapter leadership, accountability, and member engagement
Supporting chapters through challenges with fairness, clarity, and care
Encouraging best practices that help chapters operate with confidence and consistency
My goal is to make sure chapters never feel like they are doing the work alone. I want every chapter to feel connected to regional leadership and equipped to fulfill Delta’s mission.
Empowering Sorors Through Leadership Development
I believe every soror has gifts, skills, and leadership potential that can strengthen our Mighty Midwest Region. My vision includes intentional opportunities for Sorors to grow, lead, and serve at every level.

I will focus on:
Developing leadership training for new, emerging, and seasoned leaders
Supporting chapter officers, committee chairs, advisors, and members with practical tools and guidance
Encouraging mentorship and intergenerational connection between collegiate and alumnae sorors
Creating spaces for sorors to learn, ask questions, and build confidence
Investing in leadership development that prepares sorors for service beyond the chapter level
When we invest in Sorors, we strengthen chapters. When we strengthen chapters, we elevate the Mighty Midwest.
Because I believe that:
Building Connection Through Communication
Communication is one of the most important ways we build trust. As Regional Director, I will prioritize communication that is timely, clear, organized, and accessible.

I will focus on:
Providing transparent and consistent communication to chapters and members
Creating opportunities for Sorors to share feedback, ideas, questions, and concerns
Continuing the spirit of LaNeice Listens through intentional listening and engagement
Using technology and creative outreach to keep Sorors informed and connected
Making sure communication is personal, purposeful, and connected to address the real needs of the sorors of the Midwest Region
Listening is not just something I say. It is how I lead.
Advancing Delta’s Mission Through Service and Impact
Delta’s mission calls us to serve with purpose. I believe the Mighty Midwest Region can continue to lead with powerful programming, meaningful partnerships, and community-centered impact. My goal is to empower and protect you in doing so.

Supporting programs that respond to the needs of our local communities
Encouraging collaboration between collegiate and alumnae chapters
Sharing successful chapter models and best practices across the Midwest Region
Promoting service and social action endeavors that are visible, measurable, and mission-focused
Celebrating the impact of Sorors and chapters throughout the Mighty Midwest
Together, we can continue to advance Delta’s mission with excellence, compassion - and achieve meaningful results.

My vision is to lead a Midwest Region in a manner that means standards are upheld, sisterhood is strengthened, and love is demonstrated through action.
To me, love in leadership means listening. It means showing up. It means offering guidance with compassion, holding one another accountable with care, and remembering the sisterhood that binds us together.
